Join your colleagues around Ireland as Fórsa members hold 65 events this week, from 28th April to 2nd May.
This is the second ever Trade Union Week, following the launch of this event last year to resounding success.
This year, trade unions across workplaces will be holding stalls, coffee mornings, webinars, meet and greets, and many other events. The aim is to show all of their colleagues why they should join their union and how to grow our movement even more.
From increasing your pay, better terms and conditions, protecting your job, and standing up for each other, there are so many reasons to join a trade union.
And remember – workers are the union. It’s your collective power that wins for workers, and for each other.
In Fórsa HQ, join us this Thursday, 1st May between 9.30am and 12.30pm, to commemorate 25th anniversary of Ireland’s minimum wage, how it came about and the impact it had.
There will also be the annual May Day march, 7pm at the Garden of Remembrance, organised by DCTU and followed by a union get together in Liberty Hall.
If you want to attend an event in your area, please contact your local branch below, who will be hosting them.
And email photos of your events to comms [at] forsa.ie!
