A new video message from school secretaries, SNAs and caretaker members of Fórsa is urging their colleagues to join their union. As Ireland’s fastest growing education union, Fórsa supports more than 15,000 workers in the education sector.
The video compiles photos and video messages from Fórsa’s schools membership around the country about why they joined and the benefits of Fórsa membership.
The video message features members telling their own story about union membership, providing a strong message for school and classroom staff thinking about joining the union.
School secretary Kathleen O’Doherty, from Letterkenny in County Donegal said: “This is a timely call to our colleagues in schools about the power of what we can achieve together, and reminds us of how we must work together even as we are kept apart during the pandemic,” she said.
You can view the full video in the panel below or on the union’s YouTube channel.
Edited versions of the video will appear at 7.30pm today (Wednesday) on Fórsa’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
It’s never been more important – or easier – to get the protections and benefits of union membership. Join Fórsa HERE or contact the union HERE.
