*Salary Protection provides a replacement income of up to 75% of your annual salary less any other income that you may be entitled to (e.g. half pay, Ill Health Early Retirement Pension, Temporary Rehabilitation Remuneration, State Illness Benefit or State Invalidity Pension). To be eligible to claim from the Scheme, you must meet the definition of disablement as defined in the policy document and exhaust the deferred period of the Scheme. **This is a summary of the key benefits available to members of the Scheme. Members of the Clerical Officer & Executive Grade Schemes prior to 1st June 2022 who have opted out of the Death Benefits, Specified Illness Benefits and Medical Immunity Benefit during the opt out period are not covered for those benefits.
